OlymTech and DCBB together offer SaaS to SMB in China
Ning Bo, China, October 8, 2007 OlymTech (Ning Bo) Ltd., a subsidiary of
OlymTech Corporation based in Silicon Valley, California, the industry
leader in the Software as a Service (SaaS) operation support platform, SaaS
application runtime platform and SaaS application development platform,
today announced that it has signed a partnership agreement with Digital
China BB (DCBB), a joint venture between Digital China, the largest software
distributor, independent software vendor (ISV), and system integrator (SI)
in China, and Softbank BB, the largest software distribution company and the
first partner of Salesforce.com in Japan.
After months of evaluations on many different solutions in the U.S., senior
experts from Softbank BB, Japan and Digital China finally landed on
OlymTech's platform solutions. "OlymTech has the most advanced architecture
we have ever seen, and the most complete solutions for SaaS service
providers," said Mr. Watanuki from Softbank BB. Mr. Ma, the CEO of DCBB was
also impressed with OlymTech's team of experts: "You guys have the most
profound understanding and hands-on experience with SaaS among the companies
we have spoken to."
According to the agreement, DCBB will use OlymTech's platform to develop and
host SaaS applications it is planning to offer to its SMB clients across the
country, through Digital China's 15,000 resellers. Meanwhile, OlymTech will
provide training and technical support to software companies which will
build SaaS applications and provide them to DCBB.
Prior to partnering with DCBB, OlymTech has been in partnership with China
Netcom in Zhejiang Province and some smaller service operators since July,
2005. There are now over 6000 companies on OlymTech's platform, using
various business management applications, from horizontal to vertical
applications. OlymTech has also established two SaaS application
development incubation centers in China since early 2006, where OlymTech
provides free training and technical support to the software companies.
