Jim Wang, chairman of Olymtech, gave a speech named after his first speech in 2008, “You can be part of SaaS” and shared the vision of making everyone to build its own business platform upon SaaS with all the participants of this session. Olymtech, as a pioneer of SaaS and SaaS platform provider and carrier, has always been advocating and devoting itself to realize the idea of making every company its own SaaS platform, and to enable customers improving their services and competitiveness through SaaS.

Jim also brought exciting news from the result of a survey conducted by IDC market research firm in the US. According to IDC, the revenue of SaaS in 2009 will reach 9.5 billion US dollars globally. Moreover, its predicted growth rate 42% is in sharp contrast with that of traditional software and application software, which are 3.4% and 5.6% respectively. In addition, according to the survey, about 88% of all the companies using SaaS claim that they will continue or even expand their usage of SaaS, and about 45% companies has found at least one application that can be transplanted to SaaS. By the year 2012, 76% of companies in the US will use at least one SaaS application.
